Rules for the use of windows and doors

It is common for significant and sometimes irreparable damage to occur to windows and doors during construction or interior finishing work. Window maintenance is important not only for aesthetics but also for longevity, safety, and energy efficiency.

To avoid damage to windows, it is essential to follow the rules outlined below:

  • Protect the surfaces of the products. During installation or general interior finishing work, protect the products to prevent construction materials from coming into contact with wooden surfaces, glass, locks, hinges, hardware, and other surfaces.
  • If you need to cover windows or doors during construction, take care not to damage the products.
  • When performing work, make sure that no construction debris, dust, or other contaminants come into contact with moving parts of the hardware. If they do, clean the affected areas immediately.
  • It is advisable to remove any protective film no later than one week after installation, as leaving it on for an extended period may result in the adhesive residue remaining on the product surface and paint peeling off.
  • In conditions of poor temperature and humidity control in indoor spaces, condensation may form on the surfaces of the products. When condensation appears on product surfaces, ventilate the room immediately.
  • The moisture content of wooden window frames should be 14±2%. Due to inadequate ventilation in buildings, the moisture content of wood often exceeds 22%, allowing blue stain fungus, also known as mold, to grow. Once this process starts, it cannot be stopped.
  • The relative humidity indoors should be maintained at 50–60%.
  • When performing construction, interior finishing, or repair work, avoid mechanical damage to the paint layer or the surface of the product frame. Protect the products from mechanical damage, scratches, dents, and other types of damage.
  • Use only cleaning agents that do not contain aggressive chemicals for cleaning the products.
  • All visual defects are those that are visible from a distance of three meters, under natural lighting, and at an angle of 78–105 degrees.
  • Do not contaminate rubber seals with construction debris.
  • Do not use windows with an adjusted window locking mechanism, as this may damage the wooden frame and/or the locking mechanism.
  • Maintain a relative humidity of 50–60% indoors.

The manufacturer reserves the right to make changes to technical solutions and materials without prior notice to improve the product.
