Maintenance and Repainting of Painted Surfaces of Windows and Doors
Wooden surfaces are coated with elastic, breathable, water-based paints. It is crucial to preserve the unchanged paint layer for as long as possible. The environment in which they are used and how they are maintained plays a significant role.
• By safeguarding and maintaining the protective paint coating, we ensure the functionality and longevity of the product. Painted surfaces should be periodically cleaned and refreshed with special agents. Use only mild cleaning materials suitable for wooden surfaces, such as non-abrasive cloth or a soft sponge. Do not use cleaners containing aggressive substances such as solvents or abrasives that could damage the paint surface.
• When repainting windows, it is advisable to consult qualified specialists or the paint manufacturer who can provide suitable paints and the technology for the process.
• For wooden products with horizontal surfaces not protected by aluminum cladding, additional annual maintenance is necessary to maintain the longevity of the paint surface.
Note: Over time, a natural change in the color of the product (for transparent coatings and olive surfaces) is a natural process and does not affect the functionality or quality of the product.
