Glass packages

A glass package is a glass product composed of two or more glass sheets separated by a special frame, filled with inert gases, and hermetically sealed.

Glass packages must be handled with care, and certain rules should be followed to avoid factors that could lead to breakage:

• Do not place heating devices closer than 30 cm to the glass surface. If the glass is toughened, the distance should be at least 15 cm to prevent thermal shock.

• At the start of the heating season, increase the temperature of heating devices gradually rather than abruptly.

• Be aware that the temperature of heating devices near the glass should not exceed 65°C.

• Do not attach any films to the glass, as different thermal stresses can cause the glass package to break.

• Tinted glass should be exposed to light or kept in the shade across its entire surface, as unevenly heated glass may crack.

• When installing blinds, ensure that there is no contact between the blinds and the glass, and maintain a minimum distance of 2 cm between the window and the blinds to ensure natural ventilation.

• If there is a fireplace near the window, you should install a protective shield between the fireplace and the window to prevent the glass package from overheating, as it may burst if used near a fireplace.

• Keep in mind that the glass can also break due to the influence of cooling and air conditioning units located close to the glass, as well as insufficient room heating (especially if not heated at all during the winter).

• Do not place dark objects near the glass package, and do not lean any objects against it.

• Note that the heating system in front of the display window should occupy at least 70% of the window's width.

• Warranty does not cover thermal cracks, pressure-induced cracks, external impacts, and mechanical damage.
